Our Denomination
The United Church of Christ formed in 1957 with the merging of the
Reformed, Evangelical, Congregational and Christian churches.
The Hillsborough congregation is included in the Southern Conference,
a geographic area organization made up of associations.
We are part of the Eastern North Carolina Association,
which consists of congregations like HUCC
Our congregation was accepted into the United Church of Christ in 1989
and the members constructed the present building in 1991.
